The 1966 Galaxie was a 2-door convertible from the third generation line-up. The exterior of the car was completely remodeled for the year, having crisp lines and curves for aerodynamic purposes. This model featured with dual stacked headlamps in front. And no more leaf spring rear suspension. Instead, one featuring all coils was used, and the result was a smoother ride with better handling. There was a newly designed instrument panel, and a 2-way key system. a 7-liter 427 cubic inch V8 engine was available. The convertible was available in six different engine options. This is one of the best looking cars from the 1960 era, especially as a convertible!
